Shellaine Ramkishun
Project Manager
Shellaine Ramkishun is the lead Project Manager of 13th Floor Investments. She is responsible for execution and oversight of the firm’s development projects. Prior to joining 13th Floor, she was the President of Krama Construction, Inc. a South Florida firm that focused on the installation of Doors, Frames, and Hardware. Krama Construction was established in 1997 and has serviced some of the largest new construction sites that helped transformed Miami’s skyline. Some of Krama’s more notable projects were new condominiums such as the Jade Beach, Everglades on the Bay, and 900 Biscayne. Major Hotels included The Biltmore, The Ritz Carlton, Loews Miami Beach, and Espirito Santo Plaza. Her most notable and challenging projects were the American Airlines Arena and the Adrienne Arsht Center, a state of the art Performing Arts and Cultural Center. Krama worked closely with many of the largest and most successful regional and national General Contractors, including Coastal Construction, Pavarini, Bovis Lend Lease, Yates and Odebrecht Construction. Ms. Ramkishun comes from a construction background, having learned the trade of development and construction from her father and grandfather through their business. Ms. Ramkishun is currently in the Master’s of Construction Management program at Florida International University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from FIU as well. Ms. Ramkishun is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch and has traveled extensively throughout the world.
